The Henderson Area Arts Alliance is happy to announce two holiday shows coming to the Henderson Fine Arts Center in December.
The Willis Clan Christmas Tour will take place Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 7 p.m. The Willis Clan is a family of amazing musicians, dancers, athletes, writers, and artists. Emerging from Irish roots, these 12 brothers and sisters merge a variety of musical genres to create a unique blend of old and new sounds for the holidays.
Until December 5, fans can also bid on one of five Willis Clan Christmas Trees. These trees, delivered to your door, also include a signed special-edition ornament from the band. The top 5 bidders will win a meet-n-greet session with the group before their performance. Details on bidding can be found at www.haaa.org/tree
A second holiday show, a traditional classic The Children’s Nutcracker will take place Sunday, December 13 at 3:00 p.m. Performed by students from the regional Children’s Center for Dance Education, the Nutcracker, a classic Christmas story, is a fairy tale ballet centered on a family’s Christmas Eve celebration and a young girl’s awakening to the wider world and romantic love.
“We’re especially excited to have the the Willis Clan with us for our holiday show this year. The family of 12 siblings are super talented and very popular. This particular show may just be a sell out so get your tickets early.” said Greg Gibson, Executive Director of the Henderson Area Arts Alliance.
