The Henderson Area Arts Alliance is proud to partner with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) for the production of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. An audition will be held for students in grades K-12th on Monday, June 25 at the Preston Arts Center from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Those auditioning should plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Among the 60 roles to be cast are Snow White, her friends Phineas, Foxy and Fernando, Queen, seven Dwarfs, the Forest animals, Black Forest Creatures, a Magic Mirror, Bats, Henchmen and the King. Students who have completed K-12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 10:00 a.m to 2:30 p.m. each day, Tuesday through Friday.
Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs will be presented on Saturday, June 30 at 3:00 p.m. at the Preston Arts Center. The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Henderson is brought to you by the Henderson Area Arts Alliance.
