The Henderson Area Arts Alliance (HAAA) has been selected as one of the Kentucky Arts Council’s 50 Days of Art for three upcoming performances.
The arts council’s 50 Days of Art series celebrates the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Kentucky Arts Council by the Kentucky General Assembly in March 1966. HAAA is one of several Kentucky Arts Partnership organizations across the state that are hosting events included in this celebration.
The Willis Clan Christmas Tour will take place Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 7pm. Tickets start at $21 and are available at www.haaa.org or M-F 10 am – 4 pm by phoning the box office 270.831.9800.
“We’re excited to be presenting the Willis Clan Christmas Tour and even more elated that the Kentucky Arts Council chose this and two other HAAA shows as part of its 50 Days of Art!” says Greg Gibson, executive director of the Henderson Area Arts Alliance.
“We’re proud of our half-century of service to the Commonwealth, and it’s because of the work done by organizations like Henderson, Area Arts Alliance that we are able to continue our mission into the next 50 years,” said Lori Meadows, Kentucky Arts Council executive director. “I encourage everyone in Henderson and the surrounding counties to celebrate our anniversary by supporting the Henderson Area Arts Alliance shows.”
