The world famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theater takes the stage at the Preston Arts Center on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. This circus extravaganza is certain to put a smile on your face. Witness firsthand “The Dog Classroom,” “The Amazing House-Cats,” “The Animal Train Station,” and other acts with special appearances by surprise animal performers!
Gregory Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theater show has entertained audiences in more than 30 countries and across the U.S. and has been featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, and America’s Got Talent.
“Popovich Comedy Pet Theater will be fun for the whole family!” Alex Caudill, Executive Director of the Henderson Area Arts Alliance said. “This will be a wonderful opportunity for patrons to utilize our new ticket prices for young people. We at the Arts Alliance are committed to providing opportunities for engagement with the arts for children.”
The show is a family-oriented blend of the unique comedy and juggling skills of Gregory Popovich, and the talents of his furry costars. There are more than 30 pets in the show, and each one has been rescued from an animal shelters and given a new leash on life.
The event is sponsored by season presenting sponsor Field & Main Bank, Deaconess, Deaconess Women’s Hospital and Myriad CPA Group.
Tickets are $24 and $19 for adult, $12 for college students with ID and $10 for ages 18 and younger. Tickets are available online at haaa.org or by calling the box office at 270-831-9800.
The Preston Arts Center was formerly the Henderson Fine Arts Center. It is located at the Henderson Community College campus at 2660 South Green Street in Henderson, Kentucky.
